We understand that weddings come in different sizes and our packages cater for weddings of all sizes, and let’s face it, the cost of a wedding is enough to send most jaws crashing to the floor. You need to fork out for the venue, a DJ, that little thing called a Wedding Dress. Weddings in the city are great but we love to travel. Some of our favourite weddings are in camp grounds or on the top of mountains.

Can you stay longer on the day if we need you?
Absolutely! The contract we draw up details, among other things, a per hour cost if time runs over and you would like your photographer to stay on for a bit.
Do we have a chance to meet before our wedding and is that an extra cost?
We encourage a meeting and no we don’t charge any extra. For the smaller weddings sometimes a phone conversation will do the trick but we would never say no to a catch up.
How do we get our photographs and in what time frame?
You will receive your images on either DVD or USB and within 6 weeks. The smaller events may get a little surprise and have their images edited quicker. It all depends on our backlog. We don’t outsource our editing, preferring to keep complete quality control in house.
Are our images edited?
Yes, each and every image supplied to you has been put through our editing workflow which includes colour correction, sharpening etc. Test shots and images that have the important people blinking etc are culled out.
How many images can we expect?
We don’t limit the amount of images taken and some areas of your day are much more image intensive than others. Having said that you can expect between 80-110 images per hour.
We have heard horror stories about hidden costs and having to purchase the hi-resolution files down the track. What is your policy?
We have kept our pricing simple so there is no possibility of hidden costs. As for hi-resolution files we deliver those to you. They are not watermarked or downsized. Our view is that for domestic purposes you are the owner of copyright. You just can’t make a profit of your wedding images : )
We may like to have an album at some stage, do you offer them?
We do and they are truly beautiful albums handmade in Melbourne and when you are ready to commit to an album we can sit down and go through the options.
Meet David
I have been photographing weddings professionally for a bit over 13 years now and I love how dynamic they are.
I want to us to have a heap of fun on the day. I mean that in a selfish way ’cause if you guys are having fun, then you are smiling naturally and I get great images.
Posing is not my thing. I will adjust and guide you but I won’t be twisting your hands and heads like something out of the Excorsist. I am more about chasing the light and putting you were you will look great.
My style is very organic, I love to incorporate my surroundings and make that part of the image making process. That could be Melbourne’s grand architecture or the sweeping views of the Yarra Valley. I did grow up on landscape photography so I guess that’s where that aesthetic comes from.
Light, whether it’s natural or any other sort, it’s what photography is all about and how we use it to create great images.
